Nib Track respects your privacy. The application was designed to operate locally on your Mac without requiring an account, subscription, or collection of personal information.

Who We Are
Nib Track is developed and published by Black Trident Publishing, LLC. In this policy, “Nib Track,” “we,” and “us” refer to Black Trident Publishing, LLC and the Nib Track application and website.

Information Collected by Nib Track
Nib Track does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information through the application.

Nib Track does not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, artificial intelligence services, or third-party services to monitor how you use the application.

No account is required to use Nib Track.

Your Manuscripts and Files
Nib Track reads the Word documents and PDFs you choose to add so it can find chapters, names, dates, and other details in your books. Nib Track only reads your manuscripts. It does not change them.

Projects, notes, outlines, plans, pictures, and exports you create using Nib Track remain on your Mac in locations you choose.

Nib Track does not upload your manuscripts, projects, or their contents to external servers or cloud services operated by Nib Track.

Nib Track may store information locally on your Mac as necessary to provide application features such as preferences and the information it has read from your books. This information remains on your device.

Microsoft Word
Nib Track’s Open in Word feature asks Microsoft Word on your Mac to open your manuscript at a passage you select. This takes place entirely on your Mac. macOS asks for your permission the first time, and you can change it at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security, Automation. Nib Track does not send information to Microsoft or any other company.

Website Privacy
The Nib Track website uses third-party website hosting and infrastructure services. These providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate the website, including IP addresses, browser information, and standard server logs, according to their own privacy practices.

Nib Track does not use the website to collect or access the contents of manuscripts or projects created with the application.
