About.
Nib Track began with a simple problem: the longer a series runs, the harder it is to remember what’s already on the page. A character’s rank, the day a scene took place, the plot thread left open three books ago. The answers are all in the manuscripts, but finding them means scrolling back through hundreds of pages.
Series bibles are supposed to help, but keeping one means writing everything twice, and the moment you start revising, it starts falling behind.
We thought there should be a simpler solution.
Nib Track is a series bible for Mac designed around one idea: the books you’ve already written should be the source. Add your Word manuscripts, and Nib Track reads them, finds every chapter and every mention, and keeps up each time you save, so your characters, threads, timeline and plans are always drawn from the story as it actually stands.
We deliberately kept Nib Track focused. There are no accounts to create, no subscription to manage, no new editor to learn and no AI rewriting your work. Keep writing in Word, add your books once, and look things up whenever you need them. Nib Track only reads your manuscripts. It never changes them.
That’s also the philosophy behind the product:
Nib Track should keep track, so you can keep writing.
We aren’t interested in adding features simply to make a longer feature list. As Nib Track evolves, new capabilities will have to earn their place by helping you remember what you’ve written, plan what comes next, or spend more of your time inside the story.
Because sometimes better software isn’t software that does more.
It’s software that lets you stay in the story.
